Weekend Wrap...

Awesome weekend. Some of the best weather the Gramps has given us for a while. Took full advantage of it too. Went to the Valley of the Gods with Ross on Saturday and we did some amazing new problems. There is huge scope there for more problems too. Did a couple of classics, Convinced V8, which is a cool mix of steep and technical with a scary topout and Pinch and Punch V9, which is a starred classic. Didn't look like much at first, but climbed really well. The area definitely needs some cleaning, but with a few psyched people it won't take long... Sunday, I hooked up with SA Pat at Campsite. Warmed up in the Baltic conditions. Pat was trying Gay Hip Flexor V7, so repeated that and a few other problems before heading to Andersens... We had a bash at a few things there. I tried Forced Entry, which is pretty weird I must say, be keen to watch someone else do it or try it. We then popped over to Micro Machine V8, so Pat could have a lash. He did it after a few goes, including a nice fall on his ass on some sharp rock... Sorry about that fella... Then I found another new problem at Andersens, the area that keeps giving. Awesome line and a really good problem. Slap City probably V9... Great weekend, already looking forward to the next one...
